Here are the highlights of our month. My goal is to blog on a weekly basis to better communicate what life is like for us here in Muncie, but since we don't have internet at home, I have yet to work this into our routine.
Joshua and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary! My mom drove down and stayed with the girls so we could get away. As you can see from the pic, it offered some much needed rest! We went down by Bloomington, Indiana. It was charming and beautiful countryside. I guess this is the tourist hub of the state.
This is Leya. Claire's big friend and neighbor. Her grandparents are in the internship so we see her often. She is 5 yrs old and is a huge help when over playing.

Last weekend, we got to visit some college friends who live about 2 1/2 hours south of us. They have 3 boys and the girls had a great time. As you can see, they did a good job showing Claire how "boys" play- with suit and armor and digging for worms! They are sweet boys.

The garden.

Harvesting pears from a tree in our backyard....and then canning! A couple of the interns helped me with this. We got what we could done and have high hopes for next summer. I already planted garlic in the ground for next summer. I am so excited about the extended growing season!!! Tomatoes, tomatoes, and more tomatoes!!!!!

At the beginning of the month, we drove up to Marquette, MI for a wedding. A friend of Joshua's was getting married. The girls traveled well for the 12 hour trip!

This is us at the wedding. Joshua's parents live in Marquette, so the girls stayed with them and we had a night out at the wedding!
Steven, Joshua, and Bill (the groom) It was a beautiful wedding!

Spiritually we are being encouraged here at the church and we are beginning to feel more and more involved in all that is going on. I am starting to volunteer with the children's ministry and volunteer once a week at a school in Downtown Muncie.

If you think of us, you can pray for the following things:
- Motivation in building friendships and relationships here.
- Clear direction as to where the Holy Spirit will lead us from here. And patience until we receive that direction.
- Health for girls as H1N1 in going around.
- Stewardship with finances.
We miss everyone like crazy! Love you and pray for you often!

Great to hear from you guys. I will pass your prayer requests on to the Wednesday night and Elder Prayer groups. Give the girls a hug from Gayle and I.
Blessings!
