AHH....the beautiful bride and groom. It was such a fun wedding: great couple, good friends, and dancing! We know Chris from college, and we were glad to see that God brought Heather into his life! Glad too that we could be there to celebrate!
We stayed with our friends, the Sharps. Here is Amy with the girls. Despite the look on little Sophia's face, they really enjoyed Amy and Drew! Sophia has to be tired in this pic, as it was getting close to 10pm! Claire of course was having a ball being out so late. She loves socializing.
More college friends, Becky and Toni. It was so good to see them. Being back in MN made us feel right at home again! Especially the snow that fell! Yep a little snow in May.
The trip wouldn't have been complete without seeing "Tia Leah": the girl's affectionate name for Aunt Leah- Josh's sis. (Tia is spanish for aunt). She bravely watched the girls the evening of the wedding for us. It was good to know that they were able to spend some quality time together.
While in the "big city," the girls were given their first chance at bowling. You could set the machines to have the bumpers automatically come up, and there was this nifty ramp to roll the ball down. THEY HAD A BLAST!
Claire LOVED her bowling shoes. She did not want to give them back at the end of the evening. Can you believe that they have bowling shoes this size?! I think she really liked the velcro!
