Christmas!

Christmas Eve Day began with Claire helping her Nanny and Grandpa Dean (or Bop as Claire calls him). They made a birthday cake for Jesus. It is was a fun tradition to begin this year and Claire looked so adorable walking around with her "ap" (apron) on.
Claire also spent some quality time with her great-Bop!

That evening, we attended the Christmas Eve service at Bethlaham Lutheran Church. Look at little Sophia for her first Christmas!

Afterwards, we had White Chicken Chili up at the cabin. Our friend Connie joined us.

Christmas Day- We had brunch with some family friends, and played a riviting game of Dictionary. It is a tradition for these two families to play this word definition game.

Laughter is a huge part of this game.

That evening we headed up the Gunflint trail and went on a horse drawn sleigh ride. Claire and Sophia may not have enjoyed it as much as we would have liked (Claire was tired, Sophia was tired, Claire's boot fell off...)

We had a wonderful time!

After our ride, we had dinner with some more family friends, the Bains.

It was wonderful to be with our family and see so many friends.
Merry Christmas from the Lindstrom family.
